ARTIST INQUIRIES
Interested in working with Camellia Art?
Camellia Art is a fine art gallery serving Hilton Head Island & Bluffton, South Carolina, and surrounding Lowcountry communities.
We represent nationally recognized and emerging artists whose work complements coastal interiors and refined residential spaces.
Our team carefully reviews all artist submissions and considers new representation throughout the year.

OUR APPROACH
Building long-term artist relationships
The best gallery relationships are built on the right fit—for our represented artists, our collectors, and our galleries. We're always interested in collaborating with talented artists whose work complements our collection and brings something desired and unique to the experience we create for our collectors. Every submission is thoughtfully reviewed, and while we aren't able to represent every artist, we genuinely appreciate the opportunity to learn about your work.
HOW IT WORKS
Artist submission process
Tell us
about yourself
Complete the inquiry form and share a few examples of your work. If you have a website or portfolio, or any social handles, we'd love to see those too.
Team review
Every submission is personally reviewed by our team. Though we try to meet bi- weekly, we receive a number of inquiries, so please allow a few weeks for us to thoroughly review and discuss your work.
You'll hear
from us
Every artist deserves a reply. Once we've reviewed your submission, we'll be in touch, even if we're not a good match.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
A few things to consider
Original Work*
It is our policy to only represent original pieces rather than reproductions or mass produced pieces.
* We do consider numbered and signed Artist Editions of intaglios, lithographs, linocuts, block prints, etc to be original works.
Consistency
A cohesive body of work helps us better understand your style, techniques, interests, and process.
The more imagery you can share with us, the better.
Thorough Presentation
Clear photographs, notes on dimensions & pricing, and a website or portfolio are always helpful!
If applicable, please include any information on relevant education, training, or professional experience.
The Perfect Fit
Every gallery has its own aesthetic. In general, we look for work that complements our represented artists while bringing something new to our collection.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you submit
We understand that there are the occasional opportunities and circumstances of happenstance, in which case, we'll do our very best to meet with you.
However, so that our team can properly dedicate the time needed for review and discussion of your portfolio, we ask that all new inquiries begin through our online submission form or via email.
