Camellia Art has been independently owned and operated by Lively since opening on Hilton Head Island, SC in 1986. Starting as a framing shop that also sold art supplies and local folk art, Camellia Art has since evolved into one of the area's favorite fine art galleries and custom frame shops.  In 2009, Camellia Art  began with exhibiting eight local artists. Now, Camellia Art now hangs diverse portfolios from over 30 artists from across the country.

Since then, Camellia Art has expanded from it's one location on the South end of Hilton Head to second location inside of J. Banks retail showroom on the North end in Fall of 2015 and again, a third location on Calhoun Street in Bluffton in Spring of 2019.
